Tree Planting with Low Carbon

We were joined by the fantastic company Low Carbon for our first tree planting session of the new season to plant trees at our five-acre nature reserve in Snitterfield.

With the tree planting season running from November to March, the group of 9 helped us restart our ‘Plant Trees Plant Hope’ project by planting an amazing 140 trees in the time they were with us.

Low Carbon was founded with the purpose of making a significant and lasting impact on climate change, so it was great to work with a company so passionate about creating positive change.

The feeling was mutual as Investment manager, Anna Ebanoidze said “We chose Forest of Hearts for tree planting because they are a charity who are committed to doing exactly what we are doing in terms of climate change and the environment. They share the same ethics and beliefs as us and it’s so good how nature aware they are”.

We give thanks for all their energy and enthusiasm on the day to plant trees that address the currently climate change emergency, build the biodiversity of the area and will help create a tranquil woodland to improve wellbeing.
