Tree Planting with Eden Hotel Collection and Sapling Spirits
We had the pleasure of being joined by representatives from Eden Hotel Collection and Sapling Spirits to plant trees with us as part of our corporate tree planting offer and their ‘buy one get one tree' initiative.
Their tree planting promise came from the initiative to plant one tree for every drink containing Sapling Sprits purchased at their hotel during National Tree Week in November last year and we happily teamed up with them to put this into action.
The aim was to plant 165 trees, but they surpassed that target by planting 220 trees in total at our nature reserve. A mix of Hawthorn and Dog Rose tree saplings were planted to create hedgerow to not only enhance the beauty of our landscape but also to provide crucial habitats and food sources for local wildlife, promoting biodiversity and supporting ecosystems for birds, insects, and small mammals.
After the trees were given their forever home the group made use of our off-grid meeting room by coming together to discuss their efforts and report on their company sustainability achievements. before enjoying vegetable soup and cakes for lunch.
We thank both Eden Hotel Collection and Sapling Spirits for choosing us to host their tree planting event. It was wonderful collaborating with two companies that align perfectly with our values and commitment to sustainability and making a positive impact. A fantastic collective effort.
