Tree planting in Stratford Upon Avon with Wipro

On Earth Day 2021 we look back on our tree planting day with Wipro, which saw 12 of their employees make the journey to Gospel Oak Lane, Stratford upon Avon to participate in the planting of trees to start the creation of woodland and hedgerow at our 5-acre Field of Life.

This was part of Wipro’s sustainability initiative to give back to Mother Earth and our Plant Trees Plant Hope campaign in which we are planting trees with the aim of building biodiversity, helping to combat climate change and improve wellbeing.

After a health and safety briefing and a demonstration of how to plant a tree, our guests and volunteers grabbed their spades, bamboo canes and spiral guards and started planting the tree saplings to begin leaving a lasting legacy to the area.

After a committed 2 hours of planting and with over 300 trees in the ground, well-earned refreshments were had by all while overlooking the fruits of our labour.

We give thanks to Wipro for their donations, hard work and ongoing support and it has been amazing being part of restoring the earth together as the world turns to climate action.
