NFU Mutual Volunteering Day 1 at Stratford Hospital Garden
Volunteers from NFU Mutual generously contributed their time to assist us in a number of tasks around the gardens at Stratford-upon-Avon Hospital.
The group of 10 volunteers helped plant bulbs to bring colour to the garden areas, weeded all the green spaces and cleared a designated area set to be transformed into a serene courtyard garden, dedicated to the hospital staff’s relaxation and enjoyment.
This volunteering day was the first of four committed to by the NFU with the aim of giving back to the local community and helping good causes.
The energy and great efforts of the group really helped kick start the courtyard garden area which has really started to take shape. We thank them for all their help on the day and we look forward to the second volunteering day with the NFU in July.
